The Nutcracker is performed every other year in the first weekend of December.
We usually have between 45 and 65 performers of all ages in the show; most of whom are dance students, but some are community members with no training.
We offer everyone who auditions a part and all performers volunteer their time. A large backstage crew works on costumes, props, backdrops, hair and make-up, programs, transportation, construction, fundraising, and more.
Everyone who works on the productions is a volunteer, including artistic director Melinda McAdams.
